MALAWI MISSION IN CAIRO IS GEARED FOR INTRA –AFRICA TRADE FAIR (IATF) 2023
Over 1600 exhibitors will again meet this November in Egypt showcasing their work from different sectors and countries across Africa. This unique African platform seeks to attract investment, forge agreements and promote international cooperation among others.
The seven days of IATF2023 will be non-stop. With expert sessions and speakers, live performances, an unparalleled list of exhibitors, and some very special cultural highlights
Since Malawi is participating, the Malawi Mission in Cairo is already in contact with Egyptian Government Institutions such as the General Authority for Investment (GAFI) and the Union of African Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Professions (UACCIAP), Egyptian African Businessmen Association (EABA) and Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF) and many investors to link them with Malawi Institutions and Investors for possible business deals.
The Intra-Africa Trade Fair aims to attract International public and private investment by showcasing and discussing trade and investment opportunities available in the continent. It is expected that while meeting with the potential Investors, more knowledge about Malawi will be shared and that the Trade Fair will provide space to make a case for Malawi as a prime destination for business and investment.
Malawi’s main objective at this important event is to promote bankable investment opportunities available in the country and enhance market identification for Malawian products and services.
The Mission has already identified prospective investors, financiers, buyers and distributors of Malawian key products some of which samples have been provided.
The Mission is therefore calling upon Malawian Companies to get in touch with the Malawi Investments and Trade Centre for more details regarding registration and participation to this event.
The MITC has been mandated to coordinate Malawi’s participation at the Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF2023) which has been organized by Africa Export Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with African Union Commission, AfCFTA secretariat.
