All eyes were at the exhibition Stand of the Malawi Embassy in Cairo as everyone queued to get a taste of different types of Malawian dishes.
Starting from the organizers as well as participants who had tasted the food for the first time, had to go and line up for the second time before telling a friend about how delicious and unique the Malawi dishes were.
“I have tasted almost different dishes from few countries but Malawian dishes are standing out to be the best according to me”, this is s statement by a number of Excellencies from Liberia,Niger, Nigeria Zambia including the Dean of African group of Ambassadors in Egypt from Cameroon Dr. Mohamadou Labarang who patronized the Malawian Food Stall.
The Malawian Ambassador in Cairo Her Excellency Catherine Nurujeen Kunje commended all the diplomats for a wonderful job in displaying the best pavilion and preparing delicious Malawian foods which were a subject to reckon with by every participant.
The 60th anniversary celebrations were being commemorated in partnership with Afrexim Bank at the Maad Olympic stadium in Cairo with the participation of all the African Ambassadors as the African Union marks 60 years since its establishment.
